Our Story
Custom woodworks was born from a passion for pushing the creative envelope in design and function for the purpose of offering an affordable, quality product for others to enjoy. I have been working with wood since a young age when my father introduced me to the craft. My father was also my woodworking instructor through my high school season. After fulfilling my military service I enrolled at Central Michigan University (CMU - Fire up Chips) obtaining a degree in industrial education. I started teaching high school woodshop in 1996 and taught this trade for 10 years. I have thoroughly enjoyed the beauty and problem solving associated with the craft of woodworking. Although my career has taken a new path, I have never lost the zeal for pursuing and creating Custom Woodworks.
